I am probably the worst person to be writing this post because I deal with stress the worst ever! I find it hard to cope with thoughts about future events, what might happen, what someone might do or say and what I might do, stupid, I know. In this post I am going to go over what I have stressed about and what I should have done to cope with it and fell better. Continue reading
I am very much into fitness and nutrition, back in 2010 I complete my Level 2 in gym instructing, exercise to music and spinning qualifications. I used to teach spin classes on a weekly basis and have always worked out at least 3 times per week since I was 21, this was when I first got into diet and exercise and lost 3.5 stone in a year! I wanted to share some hints, tips and really go into some beneficial information for brides and grooms as the big day looms! Continue reading
I’ve been really planning my makeup for my Wedding day down to the minute details, one of the details is the blush I am going to wear. It’s important because I want it to match my skin tone, complement the lipstick I am going to be wearing and also last a long time! A lot to ask for in a little powder blush. I was tempted to buy NARS Orgasm but when I looked through my collection I had a few peachy, pink toned blushes and I thought I’d share the top few that I thought were most appropriate for a Bridal makeup look. So this post is a little peep at all the little extra bits and bobs we’ve gotten together for the big day! Obligatory stuff if you will. Obviously we needed confetti and have bought a box of 25 little boxes, we only have 16 guests so felt buying a whole box was better value. Make sure you check the confetti is biodegradable or real flower petals that have been freeze dried, gotta protect the environment and nature people! We plan to get the venue to pop a little box on each chair at the ceremony and I can’t wait for photos of it being thrown over me and Gary, think thats the pictures I want the most.
Having favour bags at our Wedding was something I didn’t think I’d ever do, it’s traditional and Wedding-y and all that stuff. But when you’re actually getting married and think about all the people coming, the occasion of the day, you’re swept up and it almost felt like a crime not to. My DIY favour bags are a little thank you and sort of keep-sake for those family members who are coming to our Wedding, they’re also very personal and very much reflect me and my fiancé. Another new product I have also raved about in numerous videos is a setting spray from Urban Decay called De-Slick. This does what it says on the tin, it sets makeup and prolongs makeup wear time, but most importantly prevents oil and reduces shine. This is what I need on my Wedding day, and even for those of you who have less oily skin the other qualities of this spray can not be overlooked! Continue reading
